Well, Soulfest is over and I think its safe to say it was an awesome time (despite all the rain). After the Sirens last show was AMAZING, and all our other bands that played rocked it pretty hard as well. We actually sold out of most of our shirts at the fest, but as you can see we do have one new design we can offer all you Blue Duck/Red Sox fans out there (click shirt to see the front and back art larger). Hey guys, never fear, I did survive my trip to Haiti...the news definitely made it seem like my group was in extreme danger, but that was not the case. We were fine and since the road blocks were down by Saturday we were able to leave on time for our flight home. In any event, please pray for Haiti...the people are hungry, poor, & have a corrupt government...yet they smile more than we do here. If you don't know what I'm talking about I apologize, but I felt the need to share that.

Hey there,
I'm starting a new project for the month of July where every week I write and record a song named and themed after a random person's story. If you have a great story and think it would be awesome to have a song named and themed in your likeness, this could be a lot of fun.
So here's how it works. You send me an e-mail either telling me about yourself or a something that happened to you. I'll read all the submissions and choose one. Every Sat. in July a new song will be posted for free to download on www.GrindingTapes.org.
So, by the end of July, there will be 5 songs about 5 different people. If you're chosen, a lot of people will be able to sing along to your life! You might even adopt it as your theme song! Please include as much detail and background information as you have. It will give your story a better chance at getting picked and make it easier for me to write a good song about you.
The songs will only be available for a week a piece and when the next one's up the prior could be gone forever, so make sure you come back for the download every Sat!

01.14.2006After The Sirens just finished recording demos for their new full-length record (out this summer BDR). They once again worked with Ian Van Opijnen from Echo Room Productions, who produced their "We Have No White Flags" EP as well as many other great New England bands. The demos have been mastered at Spectre Studios (Underoath, Emery, etc.) and both Blue Duck and ATS are excited to let you hear them before the new album comes out.

festival this summer and its called the Rock The Boat Fest. It is going to be at the East Bridgewater YMCA
